The acclaimed UK star Helen Mirren, previously recipient of an Academy Award, several BAFTA honors, three Golden Globes, multiple Emmy accolades, along with a Tony Award, is set to add another prestigious accolade to her shelf: the Cecil B DeMille Golden Globe career honor. Ceremony Details Mirren, octogenarian, who was made a dame in 2003 and named a BAFTA fellow back in 2014, will receive the award during a presentation on the eighth of January, three days before the primary Globes ceremony take place, as part of a program described by the Golden Globes as the “Golden Eve”. Also part of the event will be the presentation of the Globes’ Carol Burnett award for TV work, the recipient of which remains unannounced.
