The young golfer will have numerous prominent cheerleaders as she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, received a special exemption to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, a passionate golfer, operates several international courses and regularly competes against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she mentioned.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He basically advised me to play and enjoy myself," she explained.

"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He won't be there for the tournament. He's busy with running the country, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions this year and maintains the 461st position in AJGA rankings.

However she's able to receive tips from golf legend, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive human being. He told me to go out there, relax, following the flow."

Kai will face several top competitors in professional golf at the Annika, featuring second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

The LPGA stated that her participation helps introduce the sport to different demographics, especially with youth audiences.

Kai maintains millions of followers and has started her own clothing and lifestyle company.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
